I believe in the importance and value of a good Catholic education because the future of our community, state, nation, and the world depends upon the children we are educating today. I am hoping some of my God-given talents will be useful in helping Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School continue to provide quality education and religious and moral formation to each and every student who enters its doors.

Gloria is a lifelong member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and her husband Robert joined the church in 1983. Gloria was asked to serve on the School Advisory Council in January of 2021, and currently serves on the Policy and Planning Committee.

Gloria is a licensed attorney who has dedicated her legal career to serving in the judiciary branch. For four years she worked as a briefing and staff attorney at the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio. In 1994, she moved into a career law clerk position for the United States District Court in the San Antonio Division of the Western District of Texas, where she remains today.

Gloria graduated with honors from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She earned her law degree from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio where she graduated magna cum laude. She served as a Note and Comment Editor on the St. Mary’s Law Journal and was published in the Journal.

Gloria has served as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist for many years at Sts. Peter and Paul. She also has served on the Pastoral Council for three terms and was elected as the Chairman during two of her terms. Gloria currently serves as the Chairman of the Ministry Awareness Committee. Outside of church, Gloria is involved with the Texas Lineman’s Rodeo Association where she works on the Scoring Committee and writes and edits articles for the Association’s magazine
